A Vietnam War veteran turned 1960s hippie, Richard lived off the grid in a tepee in Kansas before a spiritual awakening during the Jesus Movement. Since then, he has served in Israel for two years, earned theological degrees in Britain (BTh, MTh), and has been a part-time lecturer at two university colleges, one in Manchester and the other in Belfast. He also served as an associate pastor in Glasgow and Belfast for 22 years. Richard and his wife are now retired in Northern Ireland. He writes, preaches, and serves in his local church while his wife travels the land doing good deeds. Their sons live in Britain. The boys call home now and then to see if their parents are behaving themselves. They live in hope!
